From Baton Rouge, take I-10 East towards New Orleans. Exit in Kenner at Loyola Ave. Take a right off of I-10 ramp and proceed to the red light at Veterans Blvd. At Veterans Blvd., take a left. EJD is located approximately one mile up on the right hand side.
From New Orleans, take I-10 West towards Baton Rouge. Exit in Kenner at Williams Blvd./32nd Street. Keep left on the ramp (Exit 223A) and then merge onto Williams Blvd. heading south. At Veterans Blvd,, take a right. EJD is located on the left hand side of Veterans. Make a U-turn to enter the building parking lot.

There are currently 2350 probation and parole cases under the supervision of this office, including approximately 60 sex offender cases.
Community Projects
East Jefferson District opened in February 2009. The location in Kenner allows easy access for offenders. East Jefferson District works closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in an effort to make the community safer. Additionally, EJD actively supports the 24th Judicial Court with Specialty Courts — Drug Court, Reentry Court, Veterans Court, Mental Health Court and DWI Court. With the additional Courts and our expanded partnership with the 24th Judicial District Intensive Probation Services, offenders have more access to rehabilitation services, intervention, treatment, and recovery with alternatives to incarceration. In addition, we work in partnership with various community service providers to assist offenders with their rehabilitation.
